Description
Another great wine from this winery in very limited supply to Australia. Via Nuova was the name of a small vineyard located close to the town of Barolo. The name comes from the proximity of the road that connected Barolo to Novello. Today only a path remains in the of the vineyards. Barolo ‘Via Nuova’ is made from the Nebbiolo grape. This vintage opens to more dark fruit and ripe berry. You will get orange peel, bright cherry and fragrant springtime blossom. There are also hints of herb, tar, violet and chalky mineral. The tannins are finely polished & smooth.
